Learn Arabic, Through the Quran

You need to be able to read Qur'anic script, that's it. No grammar background and no tajweed requirement. Lesson 1 begins from the very first building block, and everything is built one structure at a time.

Your choice. Self-Paced is fully your own timetable: start any time, study at your own rhythm, and drop into the monthly live Q&A when you can. The Live Cohort is the same 40 lessons taught in a weekly class over 42 weeks, with mentors and a group moving together. You can also start Self-Paced now and switch to the Live Cohort by 28 February 2027: what you've paid counts towards it. Either way you're part of the same student community and events.

Around four hours per lesson, in short pieces across the five skills, plus a ten-minute daily Word Bank review. Self-paced, so spread it however suits you. Forty lessons is roughly 160 hours of study in total.

No cramming. Words are unlocked lesson by lesson in the order they appear in the Quran, learnt in context, and your Word Bank brings each one back at the right moment so it sticks. Your job is a short daily review; the scheduling is handled for you.

You learn the high-frequency words that make up around 80% of the Qur'an's text, plus the structures to read them in context. You'll recognise and follow most of what you read, with the Dictionary and Mushaf built in for the rest – and the Mushaf shows you exactly how much you can access, lesson by lesson.

Mushaf, Dictionary, Word Bank, AI Tutor and Arabic Atlas all live inside the programme and open beside every lesson. There's no second app, separate dictionary or browser tabs to manage. Everything you need is on one page, on any device.

It's trained on the programme, our curated corpus and your own progress, so it answers the way a teacher who knows where you are would – pointing you to the lesson that covered a rule, or the ayat in your Word Bank that use a word. Self-Paced includes 300 messages a month for 12 months, the Live Cohort 500 a month for 18 months, and the free trial 50. If you ever need more, AI Tutor Monthly is an optional add-on.

Yes. The conversations from the Bayna Yadayk series are built into the platform, and you practise each one out loud with an intelligent speaking partner that replies in character. You start with simple everyday exchanges and build towards natural conversation – and Arabic Conversations meetups let you practise with other students in person.

That's the point of the reading strand. You read the rebuilt Qasas al-Nabiyyin with audio and a dictionary on every word, and as you progress the harakat gradually fall away. By the end of the programme you're reading unvowelled Arabic.

Same programme, same tools, same certificate. Pay once is £999: all 40 lessons open from day one, yours for life. Pay monthly is £95 × 12 (£1,140 in total): lessons unlock month by month, and the course is yours for life after your twelfth payment. If you stop before then, you keep the lessons from the months you've paid for, and can restart to carry on. The Live Cohort is £1,495 once.

Complete every lesson and task within 18 months of enrolling. If it hasn't worked for you, email us within 30 days of finishing and we'll refund what you've paid. Completion is tracked automatically on your account, so there's nothing to prove – full conditions are in our Terms.

Year 2 is the next step if you'd like to carry on. It goes deeper into the texts with the same approach. For now it runs as a live class, and you can enrol separately when you're ready.
